The Model "A" version 0, was the first cast iron grinder produced by the French company in the "year 1855", in fact, the models of cast iron grinders, also called bench or shop, were produced by Peugeot SCDC in 1855 and the more ancient is represented by the model "A", produced in 10 different variants which added to the other models, brought the production to 370 versions of cast iron grinders.
The use of these grinders was for relatively important productions, they were used to grind coffee, sugar, pepper, oats and also mustard.
